Talbot County Alienations 1662-1740 - Alienations are land transfers providing the grantor, grantee, land tract name and acreage, and date with notes.  The benefit of these records to someone researching area land tracts or following their families via the land is it covers periods where there are no land records for Talbot County and otherwise serve as a check should a deed not have been recorded. This record also includes transfers for present day Kent, Queen Anne's and Caroline counties.  See Talbot County Books.
